MUST-HAVES: College Wardrobe Essentials

  • Whether you're an out-of-state/international student or not, transporting your clothes to college can be a hassle. Because closet space is usually limited, you want to have all the staples you need before squeezing in another extravagant wardrobe piece that you may or may not wear.

Here are my top 5 women's clothing item must-haves to haul off to college:

    1. CAMIS

Camis are a must have for if it's a super hot day out and you're feeling casual. They are also an essential for most low-cut or sheer tops!

    2. PLAIN T-SHIRTS

Plain t-shirts can look like pretty high-tiered street fashion. If it's an oversized t-shirt, a recent trend is to tuck it in a little in the front and then your pajama-looking tshirt can look like a cute top!

You can also wear it inside a nice cashmere sweater and really make it seem like you put a lot of thought into your outfit which is always a plus in college.

    4. FORMAL WEAR

There are plenty of opportunities in college and you never know if you'll need a suit and tie for a job/internship interview. Don't make the mistake of wearing something casual, bosses always like someone who looks very formal and put together.
